Comprehensive Planning
In Fall 2025, Brookline will begin the Community Outreach phase of the Comprehensive Planning process to finalize the Plan’s vision and explore possible future scenarios.
These workshops will discuss the Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee’s vision statements describing Brookline in 2040, and also engage the community in exploring different future scenarios.
The Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee will be guided by in their work by consultants from Agency Landscape and Planning.
Brookline for Everyone envisions bustling, connected and sustainable neighborhoods where we can all afford to live, work, shop and have fun. By encouraging mixed-use, residential, and commercial development near public transit, Brookline can add more homes at affordable price points; increase new tax revenue to fund our great schools, parks, and public services; and support our climate goals.
