Our Plan
Brookline faces a number of significant challenges to realizing our vision of our future.
Taking charge of Brookline’s future means adding tax revenue by voting YES for the operating override on May 5th. Then, to sustain the high-quality Town services we expect and reduce the size of future overrides, we need to add more homes at all price points for everyone in our community, and accomplish our climate goals. We can do that by investing in walkable and bikeable neighborhoods, not just by permitting upgrades to our existing neighborhoods but by creating new neighborhoods with more homes, more affordable homes alongside commercial development on our larger sites.
