Brian Ladd

Brian Ladd (he/him) is a historian (Yale Ph.D.), longtime college teacher, and author of five books on how cities are put together. He also serves on the board of the Boston Climate Action Network. A native Iowan and graduate of Grinnell College, he and his wife Louise chose a Beacon Street condo as a retirement home because of Brookline’s walkability, transit access, and amenities. He was elected a Precinct 13 Town Meeting Member in 2024.
