Elise Couture Stone

Elise Couture-Stone (she/her) is a cultural strategist, museum professional, and local civic leader whose work centers equity, placemaking, and community well-being. She brings more than fifteen years of experience in fiscal development, programming, and institutional planning for museums and historic organizations, including the Nichols House Museum, Historic New England, and the Boston Preservation Alliance. Her work focuses on expanding inclusive preservation practices, broadening public engagement, and strengthening the relationship between cultural institutions and the communities they serve. In Brookline, Elise serves as a Town Meeting Member for Precinct 2 and on the Advisory Committee, where she supports transparent, community-centered policy deliberation. She joins Brookline for Everyone with a deep commitment to housing access, community belonging, and the belief that a more inclusive built environment strengthens the social and civic fabric of the town.
