Our Future, Our Tools

Our Future, Our Tools

We visualize Brookline as a lively, diverse, welcoming community.

Brookline faces a number of significant challenges if we are to maintain our economic vitality: we need more tax revenue to sustain the high-quality Town services we expect, more homes at all price points for everyone in our community, and we need to achieve our climate sustainability goals. Taking charge of Brookline’s future means adding more energy efficient homes in walkable and bikeable neighborhoods, not just by upgrading our existing neighborhoods but allowing new neighborhoods to be developed on our larger sites.

Our tools to build that future
