Kimberly Richardson

Brookline for Everyone is pleased to endorse Kimberly Richardson for BHA Commissioner. Kim is a BHA resident, a Licensed Certified Social Worker, and works as an administrator for the Roxbury Division of the Boston Municipal Court. Based on her lived experience and professional accomplishments, we believe that Kim is well positioned to make significant contributions to the BHA Board. We were particularly attracted to Kim’s comprehensive approach to addressing the needs of Brookline Housing Authority (BHA) residents, including increasing resident involvement and participation, tackling issues of discrimination and harassment within BHA properties, and advocating for safe and respectful living environments for all residents. Her focus on transparency and accountability, commitment to expanding affordable housing in Brookline, and aligning BHA properties with Brookline's Climate Action Plan will add an important layer to the work of the Housing Authority. We know that Kimberly joining the Brookline Housing Authority’s Board of Commissioners will make this important body better, and in turn, will improve the lives of Brookline’s Housing Authority residents.
