Amanda Zimmerman

Amanda Zimmerman (she/her) has lived in the Boston Area for the last 9 years and Brookline for the last 7, and currently serves as a Town Meeting Member for Precinct 7 and a member of the Bicycle Advisory Committee. She is a neuroscientist and a bioengineer, and spends her days exploring the complexities of our spinal cord function. She is also the mother of three wonderful children, and has loved the warmth and strong sense of community found in Brookline. However, she has been dismayed by the number of her children’s friends that have been forced to move out of town due to the high cost and scarcity of housing, and wants to do something about it.
