Katherine Haenschen

Katherine Haenschen (she/her) is an Assistant Professor of Communication Studies and Political Science at Northeastern University, where she researches the intersection of digital media and political behavior. Prior to completing her PhD, she spent 10 years managing successful municipal, legislative, and coordinated campaigns for progressive candidates in Austin, Texas. She believes that Brookline needs to add more housing, in all configurations and at all price points, if our community wants to truly embody its values.
